He emmigrated from Ontario Canada between 1884 and 1920 and believe he opened a nursing home in Cleveland. His wife's first name may have been Maime, his parents names were Michael NAUGHTON and Julia CLEMENT, from Stormont County, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth was abt. 1865. Henry Luck is supposed to have died in service during a war in mid 1800's. His wife Elizabeth (Zimmermann) Luck left Virginia with her luggage (which contained the deed to their farm) and small children, (#?). The trunk with the farm deed was lost. The farm was sold for back taxes, (location of farm unknown). I only know the name of one child, William born abt 1850. Henry's father's name is possible Wilhelm Henrich Leuck. The family is said to have come from Bavaria, Germany. His mother was possibly Barthena. I have a Martin Luck who married Dorthea Mamie Dukorn, this is direct descendant to me. Harry married Clara Belle WHITE, daughter of Charles Albert WHITE and Lucinda LANDFEAR, also of Portage Co. Family left Ohio in 1893 for California. Am especially interested in any information about J. W. Spencer's parents, cause of death, etc.

I am also looking on information for a Rachael HOOVER who died December 4, 1897 in Deerfield, Ohio. She was born in Greene Twp. c. 1848-49. Also Hosea HOOVER, who was living in Portage Co. in 1870 in Ravenna Twp. with his wife Mary and children Ida, Elmirra and Sarah, and Mordicai HOOVER who is also reported to have been here in 1870.

He was born in Berlin Center Ohio April 27, 1883. He is believed to be the son Clayton born to Rachael HOLEMAN birth listed as April 7, 1883 in Berlin Center with nor father's name. In the 1900 Census Arthur was listed as working as a farm laborer in Salem, Mahoning Co., Goshen Twp., Ohio for Lewis S. EARLEY. On November 16, 1901, he married Ida Caroline KOONS in Beloit, Ohio. Ida Caroline was the daughter of James A. and Anne F. SHEARER. Anything on the KOONS family would be helpful also. James and Annie Koons had the following children: Lorna (Naomi) who married a James GETZ; Samuel J. who married Maude Oliver; Harry KOONS; Margaret KOONS who married a WAGNER; and Winfield D. KOONS. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
