GILBERT,
TAYLOR
posted by
Gerry Feeley on Sunday, November 8, 1998
- Seek info on Theophilus H. Gilbert of Palmyra, Portage County,
OH. In 1863 he was described as the uncle of a TAYLOR minor in
Allegan County, MI for whom an adoption petition had been filed.
Since this child's deceased father was a TAYLOR, it is assumed that
Theophilus H. Gilbert was a brother of the child's deceased mother.
Did Theophilus H. Gilbert have a sister born ca. 1801-1808 who could
be the mother of this child. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Gerry Feeley.
