SLOUGH posted by Shirley Thompson on Saturday, December 2, 2000: I have been researcing Martin SLOUGH and Barbara Sauer Slough who came to Portage Co. about 1831/32 from Wurtenburg Germany. It looks like a relative of Barbara's came with them maybe a brother or cousin. Martin and Barbara's children were all born in Portage Co. They had 14 children all together. REESE, SMITH posted by Holly Jebb on Sunday, December 31, 2000: My great grandmother was Eva L. Reese who married George H. Smith. Both were born in Ohio (per 1900 Census) and are buried in Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio. I would like to find any info on her family, as well as my great grandfather (whose son, Harry Clark Smith (my grandmother's brother, AKA Sid Clark) was last heard of as Sheriff in Youngstown, Ohio (and who had two sons, Tony (Anthony?) and Tommy (Thomas?) who are lost as well) and am trying to find info on all of these. Please advise as I see no info as submitting a query and/or registering a surname when none is listed.
